RATIONALIZING THE AMOUNT OF ENTRANCE FEE AND RATES OF COTTAGES, ROOM RENTALS, TREE HOUSES, AND FACILITIES AND AMENITIES AT CALAWAGAN MOUNTAIN RIVER RESORT

This ordinance updates and rationalizes the entrance fees, cottage rentals, room rates, tree house rentals, and other amenities at Calawagan Mountain River Resort in Paluan, Occidental Mindoro. It sets differentiated rates for residents and non-residents, provides discounts for senior citizens and persons with disabilities, and specifies maximum occupancy for cottages and rooms. The ordinance also prohibits certain acts within the resort premises, such as littering, vandalism, destruction of property, eating/drinking near pools and rivers, and cooking in undesignated areas. Penalties for violations include fines ranging from ₱1,000 to ₱2,500 or imprisonment at the court’s discretion. The ordinance ensures sustainable tourism management, environmental protection, and fair use of public facilities.
