ESTABLISHING A COMPREHENSIVE ANTI-DENGUE PROGRAM FOR THE MUNICIPALITY OF PALUAN, OCCIDENTAL MINDORO

This ordinance establishes a comprehensive anti-dengue program in Paluan, Occidental Mindoro. It aims to prevent and control dengue fever through structured measures including community education, mosquito control, surveillance, early detection, and health services. The program mandates regular clean-up drives, larvicide application, and public awareness campaigns. It also strengthens healthcare response by training medical personnel, ensuring diagnostic tools, and creating protocols for suspected and confirmed dengue cases. A Municipal Anti-Dengue Task Force will coordinate efforts, supported by barangay councils and community members. Funding will be allocated from the municipal budget, with monitoring and evaluation led by the Rural Health Unit.
