PROVIDING WAGE INCREASE FOR JOB ORDER PERSONNEL / CASUAL EMPLOYEES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PALUAN, OCCIDENTAL MINDORO

This ordinance increases the daily wage of job order and casual employees in Paluan from ₱200 to ₱250 effective April 2024. It recognizes the significant contributions of job order personnel to municipal operations despite their non-permanent employment status. The ordinance addresses inflation, rising commodity prices, and poverty thresholds in the MIMAROPA region, ensuring fair compensation and improved livelihood for affected workers. It repeals previous ordinances inconsistent with this wage adjustment.
